In Ginza, retired sumo wrestlers lead either an interactive show with rituals and a lottery-based ring challenge, or a 60-minute training session with shiko, suri-ashi, and butsukari-geiko. English-speaking staff help explain the action. Choose general or premium seats for the show, or the training plan.

At this one-hour Kyoto sumo show, an English-speaking MC explains salt purification, shiko stomps and live bouts by wrestlers, then invites a few people into the ring for a playful challenge. You’ll get a drink and a photo with the wrestlers. Participation is limited, and the show is entertainment, not an official tournament.

At THE SUMO HALL HIRAKUZA OSAKA, former professional wrestlers explain sumo’s rituals and rules, demonstrate techniques, and stage lively bouts with audience participation. The roughly two-hour evening includes a bento or snack bag and one drink. It is an English-friendly entertainment show, not an official sumo tournament.
